Sync OWA and Outlook 2003 After restoreand deleted We had to restore our Exchange 2003 Server (no service packs) on
an SBS 2003 Server because we accidently quarantined all messages. The Anti Virus software support said to restore the Information store in Exchange. Now, we can see all of our messages using OWA but not when using Outlook 2003. I'm really gun shy after quarantining all of the messages (I'm guilty!) so I don't want to risk losing anything else. The Exchange clients are using cached Exchange mode in Outlook 2003. If I disable cached mode, will Outlook synchronize with Exchange and get all of the messages that OWA shows? Is there a possibliity that I'll lose any messages? Is there something else I can do to get all of the messages that show in OWA to show in Outlook? Thanks for your help - Aidan Try creating a new profile for a single most low-impact user and see if
Outlook synchs. Also try creating a new user - can the new user send/receive/synch using Outlook? -- Show quoteHide quoteBharat Suneja MVP - Exchange www.zenprise.com NEW blog location: www.exchangepedia.com/blog ---------------------------------------------- "SolveIT" <Solv***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C6D5EED6-5FF9-417B-B7E4-9B320D831A30@microsoft.com... > and deleted We had to restore our Exchange 2003 Server (no service packs) > on > an SBS 2003 Server because we accidently quarantined all messages. file for a low impact user as you suggested. It looks like it worked so far. Now, for the high impacted users! I'll let you know how I made out. client. I think my troubles were caused by the cached messages in the OST. That file had to be recreated by using your method, a new profile with a new name.
