message is coming The Exchange store 'First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (Server Name)' is limited to 75 GB. The current physical size of this database (the .edb file and the .stm file) is 20 GB. If the physical size of this database minus its logical free space exceeds the limit of 75 GB, the database will be dismounted on a regular basis. As Database size is set to 75 GB in the registry and have ample disk space available.. Do we need to be concerned of this Show quoteHide quote "Mark Arnold [MVP]" wrote: > On Fri, 23 Jan 2009 04:35:00 -0800, Rajnish > <Rajn***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: > > >The database "First Storage Group\public folder store (Server Name)" has 0 > >megabytes of free space after online dfragmentation has terminated... > > > >Any impact on the functioning or steps for any improvements just an info > >event... > > It's an event that gets logged every night and is for information. used before the physical size of the DB is increased. In and of itself, there's nothing wrong with the 1221. You are using the standard edition and the store is limited to 75GB. You are currently at a physical size of 20GB. Your store is growing. There could be many reasons that your store is growing, and many of those reason are valid ones. The main thing is to have appropriate mailbox size limits in place to control the growth so that you do not exceed the store limt. If there are valid business reasons for mail growth beyond 75GB, then you'll need to move to the enterprise edition or upgrade to Exchange 2007.
