Active sync question

Is there a was to disable OMA and active sync on the exchange server but
still allow mobile devices to sync their email connected to their pc. A usb
cable would be used.

Yes.  Disable OMA and ActiveSync for all users.  Connect the mobile device
to the PC with a cable and configure ActiveSync there.  The server won't
know anything about it.

Seriously, Server ActiveSync is way cool.  I don't understand why you'd be
prohibiting it.

I will give it a shot. Also we are only prohibiting to certain user which
helps.
