Combining OrganizationsHi I am combining two companies email systems. Both are on Exchange 2003 and
2003 AD. CompanyA will remain so all users and mailboxes will be migrated from CompanyB to CompanyA. My question is on the cutover date I will have to point CompanyB's MX record to CompanyA's ip address? Would I have to configure CompanyA's exchange server to accept emails from CompanyB's domain? Thanks for the help TKE402 Comments inline below.

You will also need recipients (mailboxes) that have the CompanyB addresses that are expected to receive mail. Show quoteHide quote > > Thanks for the help > > TKE402 Thanks Ed.
Is there a way to test that CompanyA is receiving email from CompanyB's domain before the cutover date? For example add CompanyB's domain as per you instruction and specificaly send emails to CompanyA's MX IP. Is there a link or a white paper you can point me to to configure the default receipient policy. I can't seem to figure that part out.
