Lost mailboxesanother.Exchange 2003 server. Unfortunately, the second server failed with RPC errors immediately after the move so I could not move the mailboxes back. Did a restore of the mailboxes on the first server. However, all the users are now pointing to the failed servers- essentially not seeing the restored mailboxes. Example: Mailbox Store: USCOMAIL/First Storage Group/Mailbox Store (USCOMAIL) It should read: Mailbox Store: USCOMAIL2/First Storage Group/Mailbox Store (USCOMAIL2) [... with a "2" after USCOMAIL]. I can list out the mailboxes using System Manager. I even tried Exmerge.exe to extract the into but it can't find any of the mailboxes either. However, if I create a new mailbox - it will see it. Both servers were running as Domain Controllers on Windows 2003 Server Standard. Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks. post one message addressed to all of the newsgroups with one post so that answers will be posted to all the newsgroups. -- Show quoteHide quoteEd Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .. <jacks***@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:524066a8-a012-49a9-aaf3-624d50b56b52@q35g2000vbi.googlegroups.com... >I moved all the mailboxes from one Exchange 2003 server to > another.Exchange 2003 server. There is
however a company that has a find and replace tool but I do not know if it supports finding the Exchange server attribute and then changing that. As this is an MS forum I do not want to list the tool but if you google search for "Active Directory find and replace tool" you should find it. Give them a call and ask if this would do what you want.
