Deletes Views in shared calendar reappear

Hello,
CONTEXT:
We have a shared calendar on MS-Exchange 2003 SP3 with custom views, where
most users are Editors, 2 users are owner - one is the Windows user under
which the exchange account was created, the other is an windows admin user
who was set with privilege rights as owner on that shared calendar.

Views are sometimes deleted in order to create new ones with new criterias.
It is being done by one of the owners.

All users have WinXP+Outlook 2003, except 2 which are Vista+Outlook 2007.

THE PROBLEM : For some reason, deleted views reappear in shared calendar.

No matter who I'am logged in as to delete and re-create the views, older
views still re-appear. This happens mostly in the morning when all other
users log in to network and most probably then access the shared calendar.

My feeling is that when a user opens the shared calendar under his Outllook,
it pushes back to exchange (the shared calendar) the current view set in his
Outlook but which was previously deleted under the shared calendar by the
owner.

Could this be it? Any other idea? AND MOSTLY, how do I stop this annoying
issue?

Any idea?
Thx
Chris

See if turning off cached mode on all clients using the mailbox solves the
problem.

Hello Ed,
Only one user (the owner of that mailbox having the shared calendar) uses
that mailbox.
All other users connect to it as a shared calendar.

Thx
Chris

Hello Ed,
Yes, I did what you suggested, but it didn't solve the problem.
The cache mode wasn't set on that mailbox in first hand.

We installed Outlook 2007 to everyone (on Vistas and WinXP) and that solved
all issues and even more.

Even more so, Otl2007 on WinXP and Exhcnage 2003 seems to perform way faster
than Otl2003 - on start, navigating and synchronising.

Thx
Chris

That's my experience with Outlook 2007 as well.  Its cached mode and Outlook
Anywhere works quite a bit better.
