Sending emails to Distributions list sometimes doesn't get deliverenvironment users started to experience issues emailing DL groups. I have noticed that this issue is intermittent; sometimes it works and sometime it doesn’t! Furthermore, If the DL has the "Message Restriction†property turned ON to except messages only from a specific Authorized group, the user – who is a member of that Authorized group – gets a NDR as follow: GRP:DXB Everyone in SWF on 1/21/2009 8:33 AM You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator. <dxbexmb01.dxbpet.dubaipetroleum.root #5.7.1> However, if the DL is open to accept message from everyone, the message doesn’t get delivered and NO NDR gets generated. Message tracking shows that the message was processed but stopped at “SMTP: Message Categorized and Queued for routing†but doesn’t go any further than that. Unlike when the message is successful the message tracking show: SMTP: Message Delivered locally to multiple recipients SMTP Store Driver: Message delivered locally to Store to us***@domain.com SMTP Store Driver: Message delivered locally to Store to us***@domain.com SMTP Store Driver: Message delivered locally to Store to us***@domain.com and so on. Like I mentioned earlier, this issue is intermittent and works fine every now and then. I would be grateful if anyone seen this before and knows how to fix it. we had a similar issue and we found that the group wasn't set to universal
Once it was set to universal the message no longer got stuck in the categorizer Show quoteHide quote "Michael Skairjeh" wrote: > Ever since I installed exchange 2007 to coexist with our Exchange 2003 > environment users started to experience issues emailing DL groups. > I have noticed that this issue is intermittent; sometimes it works and > sometime it doesn’t! > Furthermore, If the DL has the "Message Restriction†property turned ON to > except messages only from a specific Authorized group, the user – who is a > member of that Authorized group – gets a NDR as follow: > > GRP:DXB Everyone in SWF on 1/21/2009 8:33 AM > You do not have permission to send to this recipient.
