Hi,

I have a little question about Exchange 2007.  If I use Outlook 2007 I see
the link  http://server/exchange/alias/contacts/test.eml, but if I user OWA I
see this
https://server/owa/?ae=Item&a=Open&t=IPM.Contact&s=Draft&id=RgAAAADns5U5Pdo%2bSamzP%2fK78yQOBwBgW74qsZ7RTJzeGdXyv4QaAAhgHichAABgW74qsZ7RTJzeGdXyv4QaAAhgHjBxAAAR.
I think that is has something to do with URL Encoding. Is it possible that I
can see it in OWA as  the following
http://server/exchange/alias/contacts/test.eml ? What must I change?

Thanks

Marcel

It's a lot more complicated than just URL encoding.  The /Exchange URL is
the item's store URL for WebDAV access.  You can't type that into a browser
and expect it to work like you could in E2003.

Lee.

Hi Lee,

if I understand you correct, then it is not possible that the user can see
the link
as the following link  http://server/exchange/alias/contacts/test.eml in OWA.?

Thanks

Marcel

Try replacing /exchange/ with /owa/ and /alias/ with /u***@domain.com/ .  It
might redirect you to the 'correct' URL.
