Moving Mailboxes to new Exchange ServerHello,
I have the need to move our exchange server to another server on our domain. I've installed exchange on the additional server and both servers are showing up under the System Manager for Exchange. I've moved a few mailboxes to the new server just by using Exchange Tasks - Move Mailbox. That has worked fine. Is it possible then to just setup a new SMTP connector that points to the new exchange server and then point the clients Outlook to the new server? Then I would like to remove the old exchange server as it's having hardware problems. We only have about 12 users. Thanks for your time. Tom Tom <T**@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote:

But you'll want to disconnect the old server first & see if anything else goes belly up before doing this (esp if you use public folders, which you need to replicate/rehome) Show quoteHide quote > We > only have about 12 users. Thanks for your time. Tom Ok. Thanks. I'll give it a shot.
