Address not foundUsing Exchange 2007 std, I added a new user mailbox last week. Now this week
the user is not showing in the global address list. Within the properties of the user the box hide from GAL is not checked, the acct is enable, email address and smtp is listed, and the user is a member of the domain. Others users can't send the email since exchange can't find it. What happen to it and where do i begin to look? Using Outlook 07, When you click on advanced find, type users name.. the user
comes up. But user is still not listed in GAL. Show quoteHide quote "TechSupport" wrote: > Using Exchange 2007 std, I added a new user mailbox last week. the GAL in Outlook with cached mode, i.e., the Offline Address Book: 1. The object or change must replicate to the domain controller the RUS uses. 2. The RUS must run and stamp the object with Exchange attributes. 3. The offline address book must be generated. This is a scheduled activity. 4. The OAB system public folder must replicate to the public folder server the user's Outlook is using, or the File Replication Service must replicate the OAB files to the CAS the user's Outlook 2007 is using. 5. Outlook must synchronize itself with the offline address book. This is directed by Outlook. http://theessentialexchange.com/blogs/michael/archive/2007/11/13/forcing-an-offline-address-book-to-get-updated.aspx -- Show quoteHide quoteEd Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." ..
