Hi,

One of our clients currently using Mirapoint email compliance. They would
like to migrate it to exchange. They also use third party software (Magnet
mail) for email solicitations and blasts for business purpose...

Here I have three queries pertaining to above context...

1.Are  there any inbuilt or Microsoft proprietary tools for exchange
migration from Mirapoint? (I have found couple of migration tools in internet
which help this purpose, but I would like to know any proprietary tools from
Microsoft or any third party tools supported by Microsoft)

2. I would also like to know whether exchange server supports such mail
blast/solicitation applications.

3. Is Exchange server CAN-SPAM Compliance?

Please help!!!

Thanks in advace.

Nothing that I know of. I'm not familiar with Mirapoint. If you can get the
data into Outlook in a PST file format this will make it a simple matter.

I wouldn't use Exchange for mass mail. It won't handle subscribe/unusbscribe
requests, bounces & reporting, gracefully if at all. I would use a listserv
app or third party service such as ConstantContact. Otherwise you'll
probably run into problems with people thinking you're spammers, and may get
blacklisted.

Exchange has built-in antispam functionality to a degree, but I don't hear
many people talking about CAN SPAM nowadays.
