Delay of emails - [wp]users receive delayed notifications for quite a few domains .... seems to be
growing sloooooooowly ... exc2003 did not had this issue. Since deployed HTS and albound mail goes from here .... I am noticing deferred delivery for few domains ...outbound mails goes to Postini first ..... and then they deliver to receipients. I am also waiting for a response on this from postini too ... I know there could be so many reasons ..but is there any thing on my HTS I can check to make sure its not my HTS???? Thanks, Wildpacket,
Send an email out to hotmail or an external account of yours, then check the headers to see where it's being delayed. A fairly easy process. If you have a confirmed delayed outbound message, post the headers here and we can help identity the delayed hop. Oliver here is a delayed message header for a user who tried to send an email

You got one that's been delivered? That just shows two Servers inside your domain :-) Oliver Oliver thanks.
I am confused ... the header info here is taken from a delay message whcih was sent from exc2003 to this user. this was in the message ... Subject: RE: Review Active X issue This message has not yet been delivered. Microsoft Exchange will continue to try delivering the message on your behalf. Delivery of this message will be attempted until 4/17/2009 4:22:17 PM (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada). Microsoft Exchange will notify you if the message can't be delivered by that time. ________________________________________ Sent by Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Show quoteHide quote "Oliver Moazzezi [MVP]" wrote: > Wp, > > You got one that's been delivered?
