Relocating Priv1 & pub1 filesNew client had SBS 2003
server failed no backup had additional 2003 dc demoted to to member then back to DC Installed exch 2003 on it question: Had to obviuously create a new domain to do this being that no backup existed that I can use. Again, though, I'm not sure why you would've demoted a DC and created a new domain. That only exacerbated the existing problem. You might've been able to recover more easily if you had not done that. DC had other issues beides loosing communications with the SBS 2003 server
for monhs, had indication of corrupt AD. In any usered Powercontrols on it and was able to recover all emails and Pub files from the Priv1 and Pub1 files. Utility works great.
