Missing emailsHello All:
I have a mystery at my hand, one of the users claim he is not getting emails from a particular source, exchange message tracking proves the messages have been delivered. I searched all the outlook mail folder on the users computer but no luck. The user does not have any rules, searching the junk email folder didn't help either. I have even looked at the "recover deleted items". any input will be appreciated. If it just happen to one source and logging shown it has entered to xchange
then i suggest to can telnet to exchange locally, do "mail from" that pariticular email address and see what happen? Cheers, Tan, Show quoteHide quote "genghiz" <g**@ghiz.net> wrote in message news:OHy4$1RzJHA.480@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > Hello All: > > I have a mystery at my hand, one of the users claim he is not getting > emails from a particular source, exchange message tracking proves the > messages have been delivered. Check this url for help for using telnet for email http://www.rdpslides.com/webresources/FAQ00035.htm One more thing... if you are saying that those mails are being
delivered by your exchnage then there is no chance of its getting blocked by the spam controller... i hope user is saying the truth... ask him when was the last he expected those mails and restore his mailbox with that perticular day's backup.. try your luck... but i dont see much of sense here...
