Public Folder Reporting?I am running Exchange 2003.
My company is using public folders to store emails for several hundred clients. My users are simply dragging and dropping email from thier inbox into the respective public folder. I am trying to find a easy way to report on what user is putting the most email in the public fodlers. Is there a way to do this? Thanks for the help! I don't recall if any third party providers have such a solution but you can
most likely Google to see if one is available but nothing native to Exchange 2003. I would also suggest for future planning that you at some point look at Office Sharepoint Server as it provides much better collaboration for Shared Document storage. It easily integrates into Outlook 2007 and looks just like Public Folders from the end user standpoint. It also has more reporting capabilities on the end user front. Some food for thought. -- Show quoteHide quoteJohn Oliver, Jr MCSE, MCT, CCNA Exchange MVP 2009 Microsoft Certified Partner "Christian" <Christ***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:27A9D084-4F77-4AEB-89B3-F881E801B7D7@microsoft.com... > I am running Exchange 2003. > > My company is using public folders to store emails for several hundred > clients. You could set each mailbox to deliver to their respective Public
Folder (PF). Then to get the count just look at the PF count. This would avoid the clients having to drop the messages in for what they receive. However, it will not show any outgoing... A bit more automation than current process.
