Exchange 2003 SP2 - No storage limits issue warnings sent

In "Properties" -> "Limits" of the Mailbox Store i set "Issue warning at KB"
to "100000". "Warning message interval" is set to "Run daily at Midnight".

Now I've found some mailboxes with 200 MB or more on the Server, but asking
the users and checking the log i've found out that no warning messages are
sent.

Has anyone an idea, where I can start to look to get the warning messages
running?

Thank you very much!
Werner

Only a warning? You should do more than that! ;)

Check in ESM, under Mailboxes, and add the column for "Storage Limits" to
the view.
Are you *sure* the users didn't get any warning?
Check their properties in ADUC to make sure they aren't exempt or don't have
different quotas.

The Mailboxes above my warning limit show "Issue Warning" that column.

Yes, i've checked that several times in the "Message Tracking Center"

Double checked :-)

Still no luck - even when i set the "Warning message interval" to every
hour...

Any further ideas? :-) Thanks

Hmmm. I'm honestly not sure. I'd download and run the ExBPA and see what it
reports. Sounds like you're configured properly.

Meanwhile I've also set a value for "Prohibit send at (KB)" and now the
users are getting warning messages - but this warning messages do not show up
in the "Message Tracking Center" how can that be? I always thought every
message which is going through Exchange can be tracked down there?! :-)

Thank you very much again!
