Defrag a server running Exchange

Hi

I have a Win2k Server running Exchange 2003.  All logical drives after
analysis have indicated that they need defragging.  Are they any issues to be
wary of when defragging  a server running Exchange 2003.

Your responses will be greatly appreciated

Regards

Don't look at that report, it's pointless. Unless you share the
database drive with some other service (file shares etc.), which you
shouldn't! then there's no point.

I suppose you'd be fine with the C drive if you really needed to.

Backup beforehand and afterwards.

I wouldn’t do it. But if I did do it, I would stop all the Exchange services
first. This means downtime.
I would not do it when Exchange is running.

I only did it one time and it really hurt.

Seriously. It was not fun.
