Port 25?I setup a new Exchange 2007 server (Windows 2008). I'm still testing.
When I use telnet (telnet private-IP-address 25) from our network the mail server acts fine. When I use the same telnet from another place using the public ip address (telnet public-IP-address 25) then there is no reaction from the server. I opened port 25 on our router (NAT & firewall) What else do I have to do? What type of firewall? Can you see in logging file on your firewall that
its actually passing through successfully? -- Show quoteHide quoteJohn Oliver, Jr MCSE, MCT, CCNA Exchange MVP 2009 Microsoft Certified Partner "André van der Hoeven" <andre***@hetnet.nl> wrote in message news:3645B6C9-31E6-497A-A2D4-5A4B25009294@microsoft.com... > I setup a new Exchange 2007 server (Windows 2008). 25. For example if you are doing this testing from your home machine.
