Company WEBSITE will not load on my computer reliablyHELP!! My tech is literally in West Africa. My intranet will not load on my
computer reliably. WHY? My tech's assistant is NO help and appears clueless. Can anyone help me. If you could reply to m***@pkginsurance.com I'd really appreciate it. I will forward all of your thoughts and comments onto my tech and his assistant so perhaps they can get it fixed. When I click on the internet http://companyweb/default.aspx is suppose to load. It contains all the links and processes by which we process business in my insurance agency. Usually this is NOT a concern of mine because my wife is the real worker around here and I am just a consultant. MY WIFE this week is at a thing called encampment for the Civil Air Patrol (really cool organization if you got kids who are techies or want to fly by the way) babysitting 150 Cadets. That leaves me to handle the business and I am clueless without my intranet. I have all of the processes by which any type of business is processed on the intranet in step by step instructions since I do it SO LITTLE. Help!!! PLEASE!!! Do I have the wrong tech? Is this an easy fix??? Mark W. Kinsey CRA CPIA CRIS <Mark W. Kinsey CRA CPIA

Is this an easy fix??? like this is a technological problem so much as an HR one. If you have a server and rely on it as you seem to, you need someone who knows how to manage it properly. Find a good consultant who has a helpdesk / other techs to back him or her up. I note that you're using SBS - your issue concerns Sharepoint, not Exchange. I suggest that in the future you post SBS questions in microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs to get the most expert help. That said, a server newsgroup is for specific technical questions and will not be not geared towards an end user, no offense. PS: Don't post your real email address in any newsgroup post or you'll be innundated with spam (or worse). |
