I've just subscribed to a hosted exchange server account. I now need to set
up my email account for microsoft exchange in Outlook. However, there is no
Mail icon in Control Panel. Outlook has been installed and accessed multiples
times for a long period of time.

How do I get the Mail icon so I can set up the mail profile for exchange.
thanks!

Did you install Outlook?

You might want to post this question in an Outlook newsgroup.

Hi Lilly,

if you have a 64-bit OS, you can access the Mail icon from Control
Panel\View x86 Control Panel Icons\Mail.

You are brilliant. No one, not even the company hosting exchange, has had a
clue. I was beginning to think the problem was with Vista; but I do have a
64-bit os, and I found it in Control Panel - I didn't have a Viewx86, but I
did have a View 32-bit, and there was the mail icon.

Hi Ed -- I used to be a student in one of your distance learning grad classes
at UH - quiet a long time ago. Yes, I've installed Outlook and have accessed
it many times. I believe the problem may be in the Vista Home Premium os I
have because at home I was able to do it with no problems on Windows XP.

That wasn't me.

Again, you might want to post this in an Outlook newsgroup.
