Outlook 2007 and Microsoft Exchange 2007I've just subscribed to a hosted exchange server account. I now need to set
up my email account for microsoft exchange in Outlook. However, there is no Mail icon in Control Panel. Outlook has been installed and accessed multiples times for a long period of time. How do I get the Mail icon so I can set up the mail profile for exchange. thanks! Did you install Outlook?
You might want to post this question in an Outlook newsgroup. -- Show quoteHide quoteEd Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .. if you have a 64-bit OS, you can access the Mail icon from Control Panel\View x86 Control Panel Icons\Mail. No one, not even the company hosting exchange, has had a
clue. I was beginning to think the problem was with Vista; but I do have a 64-bit os, and I found it in Control Panel - I didn't have a Viewx86, but I did have a View 32-bit, and there was the mail icon. at UH - quiet a long time ago. Yes, I've installed Outlook and have accessed it many times. I believe the problem may be in the Vista Home Premium os I have because at home I was able to do it with no problems on Windows XP.
