Microsoft Exchange System Attendant is unregistering cluster virtual machine Server1 with DsProxy.Running Windows Server 2003 SP1, with Exchange SP1. This is a single-server pointing to itself for DNS and running Active Directory. This system is NOT part of a cluster, so I am looking for a little insight into why the below message is appearing in my event viewer. The message is informational in nature (shows up as blue message in the event log, not a red error message or a yellow warning message). Event Type: Information Event Source: MSExchangeSA Event Category: General Event ID: 9243 Date: 11/13/2005 Time: 2:50:30 PM User: N/A Computer: Server1 Description: Microsoft Exchange System Attendant is unregistering cluster virtual machine EBIZ-GATE with DsProxy. For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. -- Spin Is the Microsoft Cluster service started? Does the System Attendant service
take a long time to start or does it hang when starting? have enabled diagnostic logging on the MSEchangeSA service. Is there any document which tells what type of information gets recorded by each logging item in the Diagnostic Logging section? -- Show quoteSpin "Doug Blanchard [MSFT]" <dbla***@online.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:ew5saWK6FHA.2676@TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... > Is the Microsoft Cluster service started?
