Migrating Exchange 2003 to new server question.

I am in the process of moving my existing Exchange 2003 to new
hardware. My current version is on Windows Server 2003 (NO SP1
installed) and the Exchange level is Exchange SP1.

Can I install W2K3 and Exchange 2003 on the new hardware and join my
site, and upgrade the new server to Windows 2003 SP1 and Exchange
Service Pack 2 before I move my Public Folders, Mailboxes etc from the
old server?

The reason I don't want to also upgrade the original server to WinSP1
and ExSP2 is because it's having some issues and I would rather not
risk any further changes. I just want to get it on the new server as
soon as possible.

Thanks in advance,
Stephen
