Hi.
I have installed exchange 2003sp2 on windows 2003sp1
inside a windows 2000sp4 AD domain. I have exported
mailboxes data with exmerge from an exchange 5.5sp4
installed on the windows 2000 DC. There isn't any AD
connector. Here is my network diagram:

Now outlook doesn't connect to the new ex2003sp2 till
I shutdown exchangeIS on the windows2000sp4. It always
connect to the windows 2000 server with exchange 5.5sp4
I have also destroyed and recreated both outlook and
windows profile. Clients OS are windows 2000/XP, and
outlook are 2000/XP/2003 with variuos service pack.
I did also try to change LDAP tcp listening port on
exchange 5.5sp4 from 389 to 1389. Nothing to do.

Hint?

PS: THE IS NO ACTIVE DIRECTORY CONNECTOR in the domain.
Exchange 5.5 is installed 'stand-alone'

PPS: If I wrote a nonsense exchange server name
(blablabla) outlook will 'correct' to the old exchange
5.5 server name.
