MSExchTrans EventID 7010Server: MYE2K3SERV01 Exchange Server 2003 SP2 MSExchangeTransport SMTP Protocol Error 7010 This is an SMTP protocol log for virtual server ID 1, connection #xxxx. The client at "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" sent a "xexch50" command, and the SMTP server responded with "504 Need to authenticate first". The full command sent was "xexch50 xxxx 2". This will probably cause the connection to fail. I had follow the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/843106 to do the adjustment and reboot the server but still getting the error. The fact
you get that message shows you are not relaying Show quote "Cat bite" wrote: > I found there is some error: > > Server: MYE2K3SERV01 > Exchange Server 2003 SP2 > MSExchangeTransport > SMTP Protocol > Error > 7010 > > This is an SMTP protocol log for virtual server ID 1, connection #xxxx. the remote host is sending email to us! Becuase I had contact the remote site to confirm. They claim they can't send us the email. -david Show quote "Loay Olabi" <loay@NOSPAM.olabinet.net> wrote in message news:66C1EEA4-853F-4C2F-953F-160ACCD434C7@microsoft.com... > It seems that someone was trying to relay through your SBS server.
