exchange usageserver 2 domain controller exchange 2003 bolth same domain joined by a VPN i joined two exchange servers by VPN bolth work ok but have problems when staff log on to the second server in the second office building the logons seem to travel to the far office then back this courses a long delay and some times wont let the user log on we are also using lotus for email and a database this will not work through to the far server but works localy within each building the delay i think is the reason for the lotus not working bolth offices need to exchange data all the time and the VPN can handle the traffic from staff machines ok it seems that the far server is asking along the VPN all the time this problem is driving me mad i just want the server localy to handle log on and lotus replication within each building then exchange information as the database changes between the two sites just to make things hard a third and fourth offices are in the pipe line all to have roming staff as any staff could be in any center all will be VPN connections with exchange servers -- help its all gon black Well, best setup for users is to have the users mailboxes located the Office
where they spend the most time. When the users do roam to other offices, I would suggest setting them up with Cached Mode Profiles so the have local copy of their mailbox at that location.
