Exchange 2003 Distribution / Security groupHi ALL:
For some unforeseen reasons, distribution or security group can no longer be used to send mail. The people in those lists can still receive mail when being addressed individually, however. OS: Windows 2003 spk1, Exchange 2003 spk2. I appreciate all the help I can get. Tim On Thu, 16 Mar 2006 05:49:49 -0800, Tim <tzl024@nospam.yahoo.com>

When you select a DG in Outlook or whatever and send a message, do you get any message back? On Fri, 17 Mar 2006 14:53:19 +0000, "Mark Arnold [MVP]"

When you select a DG in >Outlook or whatever and send a message, do you get any message back? Nothing was changed. Something must have reached the limit and caused this problem. The problem went away when I rebooted the server (06:00 AM) and came back (~ 2:30 PM) the same day. I do not know if my manager un-intentionally created this problem; he created a mailbox to capture all incoming/outgoing mail (corporate wide). This mailbox size is now growing to almost 8GB. Besides that, all the numbers looked good according to Exchange 2003 performance monitoring guideline, e.g. memory {PTE, *page/nonpage.bytes}, processor, etc. BTW, what is the maximum mailbox size (on the server) ? Many thanks again for your reply. Tim On Fri, 17 Mar 2006 14:53:19 +0000, "Mark Arnold [MVP]"
