Uninstalling Exchange Server 2003 Problem!!!!! I need help!!!!!!I made a very bad mistake of uninstallaing Exchange Server 2003 of my test
server, due to the fact of exchange stop sending email for what ever reason (That's in the past). So, I totally wiped the server cleaned, forgetting it has made changes to my Schema and AD. Now that I'm trying to make a production exchange server. I receive this error when attempting to install exchange server 2003 "In order to install Exchange in a domain, you must be an Exchange Full Administrator at the OU level." Is there anything I can do or utility to make sure exchange is fully gone in AD so that I can install it again? Please Help!!!!!!! -- Jermaine Wells Network Administrator On Mon, 20 Mar 2006 17:41:04 -0800, JWells

Having Exchange purged out as per articles does not have a bearing on a modified schema. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;273478 will tell you how to remove Exchange from the AD. I suspect you've removed the server as far as visible but the link will help you clean it out thoroughly. |
