Exchange 2003 event idI have succesfully set up exchange 2003 with AD fully functional. Email is working inbound and outbound and no services have been affected. The DC was set up in jan 06 and the exchnage box in feb 06. There are no error messages in the event viewer of the DC all running win23 sp1, exchnage 2003 is sp2 2 weeks ago i noticed the following 2 events in the event viewer every 15 mins: Event id 9188 Microsoft Exchange System Attendant failed to read the membership of group 'cn=Exchange Domain Servers,cn=Users,dc=ccplc,dc=cc'. Error code '80072020'. Please check whether the local computer is a member of the group. If it is not, stop all the Microsoft Exchange services, add the local computer into the group manually and restart all the services. For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. AND event id 9153 Microsoft Exchange System Attendant reported an error '0x80072020' when setting DS notification. For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. Any ideas how to get rid of them, (i have not restarted the server just in case in it leads to serious errors)?? thanks Hi,
All the exchange created groups are still in the users container right? This typically happen when these groups are moved away.
