perplexing problemhandle on. It also seems to have started to occur at the time that we installed Microsoft CRM (version 3) with the CRM-Exchange connector when an incoming email contains an attachment of another email (probably am eml type), it shows up as an attachment in the incoming email, but when you try to open it, it opens a blank email; actually it is a new email message form. i have asked the sender of one of these messages to send it to another exchange server that does not have the CRM connector (or Network Associates Group Shield Antivirus Scanner). The email appears on that server and the attachment is fine and can be opened and read. Although it is possible that Group Shield is causing this problem, but I have not upgraded that in over a year. while the problem started when I installed the CRM-Exchange connector. Has anyone experienced a problem similar to this? is there a fix for it? thanks moshe The router install itelf should not affect anything in the base mailboxes.
All the router does is monitor the Sink mailbox for messages and then it processes those messages. The tie into the user mailboxes is via th rule you deploy and all that does it forward messages as an attachment to the sink mailbox. Does this happen for non-CRM users on the Exchange server? Have you tried disabling the rule? Or even uninstalling the router? -- Matt Parks MVP - Microsoft CRM "MR" <comconix@newsgroup.nospam> wrote in message We seem to be experiencing a problem that we have not been able to get anews:OxoNadMVGHA.5580@TK2MSFTNGP11.phx.gbl... handle on. numerous complaints from our CRM users. Some interesting facts: * This problem did not start occurring until we installed the Exchange Router * We can consistently duplicate this problem with all of our CRM users, but there is not problem with other users in our organization who are not exchange users * I am a CRM user but I do not have the mailbox rules installed, and the problem is STILL occurring for me Do you have any ideas short of uninstalling the Exchange Router?
