problems in public folders

For the past few weeks, members of the domain admin group(myself
include) have been unable to access certain functions in our public
folders. One example, is we have a dept calendar we use to post when we
are taking time off. If I try to click on a day, it tells me "You don't
have permission to create an entry in this folder. Right click the
folder to check permissions." When I check the permissions, Exchange
Server Admins is listed as owner(to which group I belong).

We also have it setup to where you send an email to a specific address,
it posts it in the corresponding public folder. When we try now, we get
an undeliverable saying
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

      xxxx on 4/4/2006 1:35 PM
The message reached the recipient's e-mail system, but
delivery was refused.  Attempt to resend the message.  If it still
fails, contact your system administrator.

Users who are not members of the admin groups can do the above without
any problems. Anybody come across this?
