Sharing a mailbox with a second user doesn't workfor one reason or another i am not able anymore to give a user x access to a mailbox from user y. some time ago, if i remember it right, it was enough to set the rights with de active directory users tool on the server (using the security and the exchange advances tab). I am doing this as an administrator. There was no need to set rights from within outlook. When i want to test it, from user x's outlook environment, i get the message (translated into English: Cannot show folder, Outlook cannot acces the folder location, client operation failed). There is probably a simple answer, but after some hours trying , i am overlooking something Thanks for help salgsalg Hi,
That should still work. Remember that when you do this you assign the same permissions to all mailfolders in the other persons mailbox. When you use Outlook to assign permissions you can assign different permissions per folder. Did you try to have user x log out and the log in again (after waiting an hour to make the permissions apply)?
