Our company name is "abc" our website is "abc.com" or email is
"n***@abc.com" our domain name is "abc" we are in the process of changing
all
this Our company name is going to be "xyz" and our website is going to be
"xyz.com" and we want to have our email become "n***@xyz.com" For the next
few
months though we want each persons outlook email to be configured with 2
mailboxes "m***@abc.com" and "m***@xyz.com" so that it stays completely
seperate
until almost no one sends mail to "abc.com" anymore at which time we will
remove the abc.com.

What I need to know is how to add xyz.com to our exchange server so I can
set up emails with xyz.com and configure everyones outlook with xyz.com. (we
are not
changing the domain ever or until I quit)

Any help would be great.

Thank you
Mell

It'd make sense to keep single user account & mailbox, it can continue to
receive email for both domains till as long as you want. If that's what you
want to do, you need to add xyz.com to the default Recipient Policy and set
it as default. Leave the old domain. This will avoid the hassle of everyone
having 2 separate mailboxes (and accounts) and having users setup the second
mailbox as additional mailbox in their Outlook profiles.

If you do want to create separate mailboxes, you would have to create a new
Recipient Policy and pick up on the accounts that need xyz.com accounts.
