decline resource bookingsstill allow the resource free busy to be seen in the GAL, while allowing 1 user to set up meetings correctly? 1) I have a training room that the coordinator wants to run 'herself' 2) Anyone sending a meeting request to the training room, should be denied and gets a message that says "call me to schedule the room" (that part I have working) - right now the resource puts all requests in as 'tentative' I want them declined automatically. Can I use the AutoAccept from MS to do this. Or is it a configuration or the resource mailbox? Thanks Sgrmac You can simply go into the properties of that resource and make sure
that it only accepts information from that specific user, everyone else will get a deny message. If you wish to have the message customized then you will have to create an event sink yourself, which will require a lot of program I would imagine. Best thing is just to restrict who the resource will accept information from and then let the default deny message (which I don't remember now) to be displayed. way, but I will try and find some time to investigate it and let you know. sgr***@yahoo.com wrote: Show quote > How can I automaticaly decline all meeting requests to a resource, and > still allow the resource free busy to be seen in the GAL, while > allowing 1 user to set up meetings correctly? > > 1) I have a training room that the coordinator wants to run 'herself' > > 2) Anyone sending a meeting request to the training room, should be > denied and gets a message that says "call me to schedule the room" > (that part I have working) > > - right now the resource puts all requests in as 'tentative' I want > them declined automatically. > > Can I use the AutoAccept from MS to do this.
