forward DNSHi,
What should I use for our forward DNS? Our ISP provider (Bell Canada) or DNS registor (zoneedit.com). I'm confused. Do I need to configure also the "Configure external DNS Servers:" on Exchange 2003? With what DNS should I use, ISP or dns-registor? Do I need a reverse DNS lookup too? Thanks, Ricky If your Exchange server can resolve internet domains, don't need to do this.
RDNS - yes, you need a PTR for the sending (external/NATted) IP address - doesn't have to resolve to fqdn of sending server, but it's a good thing if it does. -- Show quoteBharat Suneja MVP - Exchange www.zenprise.com NEW blog location: www.exchangepedia.com/blog ---------------------------------------------- "RickyVene" <RickyV***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CE7952F1-21D8-40CE-9B68-74E8AC894BF8@microsoft.com... > Hi, > > What should I use for our forward DNS?
