Archive mailsI'm currently setting up a new exchange server 2003. I want to archive all
messages. I have setup a public folder (very restricted permissions) called archive. On the mailbox store properties I set the archiving to archive all messages and sent them to the public folder. Only incoming mails (from outside) are archived, sent mails are not. I would like ALL mails archived. Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? regards Ad Ad Suijkerbuijk wrote:

Could this have something to do with the fact that I have access to this public folder? When I deny myself access to this folder my messages are also archived. I'm using 2003 Std and the requirement to do this is for the first few weeks to see if everything works and maybe troubleshooting. After that it's just archiving and under normal circumstances nobody (including myself) has access to the folder. The archiving is one of our policy's.
