Mailbox manager settings

I need to know if there is a way to configure the mailbox manager settings to
not send an email after a mailbox is processed if there was no "old" emails
found.

Is the option "Send notification mail to user after processing" all or
nothing? Or can it be configured for the "guilty" people only?

Also, is there a better produt out there that would do a better job of doing
mailbox management?

That'd be nice but no, I haven't seen anyone come up with a solution
for that one.
