Active Directory Connector HelpWe had a buit of a panic when our ADC decided to start deleting objects in active directory that were live mailboxes and shouldnt have been deleted, we quickly stopped the ADC service on our server and this stooped the initial panic. However we are relying on the ADC to migrate users from 5.5 to 2000/3 environment but we are a bit reluctant to switch it back on. So to minimise the risk we decided to created a new Connection Agreement for testing replication, while at the same time setting the schedule of all other connection agreements to "Never" so that they would not run, however when i started the ADC service on the machine and had a look at the event logs, the CA's that were causing the problem last week seemed to be running and replicatin, however i quickly turned it back off again to ensure we didnt have the same problem of deleted mailboxes. So the question is, why does the CA replicate when i specifically told it not to run by setting the schedule to "Never"? Does it store its last state and keep going until its finished? Do we need to reboot the server rather than just stop the service? Thanks |
