BackupExec 10d issues

I have a Win2K3 server SP1 with Exchange 2003 Server SP2 installed.

I'm running Symantec Backup Exec 10d (in fact Backup Exec 10.1 rev. 5629
with no update installed: are there any?).

It could work fine during 15 days (backup and fine restore), and then I can
get two issues (not a the same time) :

1. The backup freeze and I need to restart manually the services.

or

2. The Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers stop and start again.
Sometimes, I need to fully reboot the server.

Any idea? Are there any useful usegroups on the subject?

Help appreciated

Nicolas

Well, I'm not hearing any mention of Exchange, so this may be the wrong
place.

I believe Veritas has some support forums at http://forums.veritas.com/

I'd suggest that you find a Backup Exec forum or better yet contact Symantec
Support.

No, it's not the wrong place, I think, since the Remote Agent fails
"because" of Exchange.
Normal data backups run fine.
But, OK, I'll have a look at the Veritas forums.
It was just in case someone had a similar issue...
Regards
Nicolas

Nicolas,
I hope you can understand why there would be this confusion since you never
mentioned Exchange  anywhere in your issue.
Perhaps you would care to elaborate on your problem and we may be able to
help you.
Please include a full description, errors, event log errors, etc.
