Exchange synchronization time too long

it takes ages for the shared calendars to update each other and staff are
making double bookings how can i assure that double bookings arent made and
that the calendar is updated imediatly as the entry is made

What shared calendars are updating each other and how? I'm not sure what
you're referring to. Please try reposting with a lot more detail, and
perhaps someone can help.
