I have Exchange 2003 SP2 with Outlook 2003 client. Users server side rules
that move messages sent to a distribution list into a specific folder do not
work and the messages go to the users inbox. If the user runs the rule
manually it works. This is happening after we had system problems and we had
to restore the exchange databases from backup. Everything else is working
fine. Any ideas on how to fix the problem?

Have you tried recreating the rule, as a test?

Yes, I also tried creating one that should fire on the subject line instead
of the distribution list and it does not work other than if I manually run it.

I'd try posting in microsoft.public.outlook, as rules are really more of an
Outlook thing, and the gurus in there may have an answer.
