Hello,
We have a user that is running outlook 2000, And we have an exchange 5.5
server. When he sends to one specific adress inside the company he gets a
rejection but anyone else can send to this adress at anytime.

Have the user that is unable to send check his contacts.  If he has a
contact for the user he is having difficulties with, delete it.  save the
info first.

And you're sure the user is selecting the recipeitn specifically from
the GAL. Just accepting the autofill within Outlook is not something
you should come back and say. Compose a fresh mail, do it the long way
and find the user in the GAL.

I am going to check to see if he is using the GAL, But i found somehting on
Google that caught my eye, I found a posting that made comment about the
x-400 adresess in exchage, I found this user doesnt have any x-400 entries.

Yes he is sending from the GAL, He has tried both ways, Fom the GAl And from
his contact list. None work

I suggest reinstalling his OS and Outlook from scratch - probably save you
more time. Although it may be a problem with his user account.

before reinstalling the OS i would look at a couple things.
try sending a message with OWA and try logging on another system and sending
message through outlook
if the problem still occurs then you've ruled out the possibility of the
system being the issue and won't have to spend time rebuilding it for
nothing
