What is the cause of BadmailOne of my customers have this problem: Some mail from different people are received to their SBS exchange 2003 server, but they go to the badmail folder and i don't see any reason to that. I know that occurs when attached file are there but they are Excel and Word files. Personally, i am able to receive them in my own email account with no problem but not my customer. I checked in the tracking center and saw the problematic mails and when i double-click on one of them i see that they go to the badmail... but i don't see and know the reason. Could you help me ? Thanks Jonathan Campbell What Exchange Service Pack is installed on the SBS 2003 Server? If its at
least SP1 then its disabled to deliver to Bad Mail folder by default or you can enable it to do so.. Typically these are messages that cannot be delivered to an Exchange Org, like spam, etc. -- Show quoteJohn Oliver, Jr MCSE, MCT, CCNA Exchange MVP 2007 Microsoft Certified Partner "Juke" <J***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:110401BE-299A-4D17-A7C1-7AE148336E60@microsoft.com... > Hi > > One of my customers have this problem: > > Some mail from different people are received to their SBS exchange 2003 > server, but they go to the badmail folder and i don't see any reason to > that. > I know that occurs when attached file are there but they are Excel and > Word > files.
