Exchange 2007 OWA: Embedded link block

Hi,

We have installed Exchange 2007, and are currently evaluating to try to
locate any surprises before we migrate the whole organization :)

One thing we have noticed so far, is that certain embedded links are blocked
in OWA.
We know for sure that the mail is ok - it comes from our anti-spam/virus
service.

The link is of type php, this could be the problem.

Is there any way we can get OWA the accept the link/extension as legitimate
?

Best Regards
Torben

Hi Torben,

Thanks for posting in our newsgroup.

From your description, I know that certain embedded links are blocked in
OWA of Exchange 2007. If I am off-base, please don't hesitate to let me
know.

Please let me know the following to make the situation more clearly:

1. Do all users or some specific users have the problem?
2. When you visit the link, what's the error message?

I searched all the resource but couldn't find information about OWA 2007
block PHP link. Please help me collect the following information for
further research:

Screen shot of the error massage when you click the link.

Please send the information to v-rob***@microsoft.com with subject:
38877083-Exchange 2007 OWA: Embedded link block.

I am looking forward to hear from you.

If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Best Regards,

Robert Li(MSFT)

Hi Torben,

I am sorry for the delay.

After deep research, I found this is bug of Exchange 2007.This is a known
issue with OWA link security blocking (Exchange12 bug 104072). We've
provided information and workaround to Frontbridge team. Unfortunately,
without an OWA or Frontbridge fix available so far. I am sorry for the
inconvenience.

If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Best regards,

Robert Li(MSFT)
