How do I prevent Exteral users of the company from adding appointm

Most of our users have their meetings options set to automatically accept the
meeting request.  A salesperson from outside the company scheduled a meeting
on one of my user's calendar.  The calendar permissions are set to Defualut
- Author.  Is there a way I can prevent this from happening?

Calendar permissions are completely configurable by the mailbox owner.
Teach your users how to configure their rights.

That does not answer my original question!  Your responses have been of no
help to me.  Maybe you should let someone answer that knows how to answer a
specific question.

You're one to talk!  Your question is rather vague and confusing itself!  So
let me see if I can restate it.

Your question is whether you can prevent a mailbox owner from setting
permissions on folders he owns, right?  If that's what you're asking, the
only way to do that would be to change the mailbox rights so that mailbox
owners are no longer mailbox owners.  While that might be technically
possible to achieve, it would be difficult to implement and manage, and
would likely break other things.  I know that this not the answer you want
to hear, but that's the way it is.

If that's not what you're asking, please restate your question clearly and
precisely.

If you thought my question to be "vague and confusing", maybe you should have
asked for clarification.

No, my question was not asking whether I can prevent a mailbox owner from
setting permissions on folders.  I don't see any type of reference to
permissons or folders in my question.

Au contraire.  From your post:  "The calendar permissions are set to
Defualut [sic] - Author.  Is there a way I can prevent this from happening?"
Now upon rereading your post perhaps you might be willing to forgive me for
misunderstanding that you wanted to know how to prevent permissions being
set a certain way.

Now that you've clarified one thing your question isn't, perhaps you'll
explain what it is.
