Exch 2007 - Redirect incoming mail to 2 organizationsHi there,
What would be the easiest way to redirect incoming mail to another Exchange 2007 server in another forest? The problem is we have 2 forests and 2 different Exchange organizations, without trust relationships. Is there a way to forward email for the recipients in one forest when they are not found in the forest which would be the first to receive all email? For example, forest 1 has 95% of all users, but there is a pilot deployment in another forest with the same e-mail domain name. The edge server in forest 1 delivers email to the hub transport server in forest 1. However, we would like the edge transport server, or hub transport server in forest 1 to be able to pass emails onto the hub transport in forest 2, if the user has their mailbox there. Is this possible? Setup the Accepted Domain as an Internal Relay domain.
Create a Send Connector for the domain, add the remote mail host(s) as smarthosts. -- Show quoteBharat Suneja MVP - Exchange www.zenprise.com NEW blog location: exchangepedia.com/blog ---------------------------------------------- "johnny_mango" <johnnyma***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6C86E4BD-41CA-4871-95FC-52D8ED280B06@microsoft.com... > Hi there, > > What would be the easiest way to redirect incoming mail to another > Exchange > 2007 server in another forest?
