Distribution lists with restricted access receiving unauthorized mExchange server 2003 with Outlook 2003 environment. I use several
distribution lists with restricted access, i.e. I specify only certain users that can send email to those lists. if a user from outside the organization sends an email to the list, should it not be blocked ? I cannot use the "authenticated users only option as I do require that some users from foreign systems be able to send email to this list any insight would be appreciated, thanks -- Steve Paul I'm afraid that it's all or nothing. Anybody sending from a foreign list is
unauthenticated. -- Show quoteEd Crowley MVP - Exchange "Protecting the world from PSTs and brick backups!" specify that only 3 people in my exchange organization and 3 people from the company next door can send to the list, what it really means is that 3 people in my exchange organization plus everybody in the world outside my organization can send mail to that list - is that correct ? -- Show quoteSteve Paul "Ed Crowley [MVP]" wrote: > I'm afraid that it's all or nothing.
