Can someone explain to me why when I look in my Exchange System Manager ->
mailbox store -> mailboxes, I have 2 users there that I check the email for
personally, and under the total items column i have 160some items that are
seemingly always there.  My email is working fine, i can send and recieve
without issue, and those never seem to go away.  Am i misinterpreting what
that "total items" column is telling me?  I am under the impression I should
recieve 160 email..... yet after checking my email and recieving email. that
number doesnt change.  How can I check what those are, and potentitally clear
them if need be?

Windows Server 2003/ Exchange Server 2003 SP2, checking email with Outlook
2003.

Thanks for any information

Perhaps the users have a view on their mailbox that blocks them from seeing
the items, maybe they're Calendar, Task, or Contact items.  Maybe they're
some of the hidden items MAPI puts in the mailbox.  Could be lots of things.

You could use a tool like PFDAVADMIN.
