Record MX on different domainmy domain is localdomain and my company website is on internetdomain.it On our public DNS server we set: 1 Record A: exchange.internetdomain.it >> our public internet IP address 1 Record MX(10): exchange.internetdomain.it We receive mail directly to our exchange server and all goes ok, but from my internal server, if I ping exchange.internetdomain.it, I receive the firewall IP. This configuration can cause problems? How can I set my local DNS server to resolve correctly exchange.internetdomain.it (exchange.internetdomain.it >> myserver.local) I've tryed to add another zone to my DNS server, and add the exchange.internetdomain.it records, but if I do that, searching for www.internetdomain.it and all others request gives me errors (because is searching locally not on the internet). Thanks Basso Claudio Claudio <cba***@intercomsolutions.it> wrote:

What's the reason you need to do this? If you have some compelling reason, you might post in a DNS group - this isn't an Exchange issue. Show quote > > Thanks > > Basso Claudio |
