Forefront evaluation removed.
Problem occurred with removal

Exchange IS will not start after reboot - missing dependancy FSC something
Exchange transprt will not start for similar reason

Forefront will not reinstall (was to reinstall then try removal again) - it
wants to upgrade existing version but components missing.
Need to remove forefront completely. Please advise.

First before doing anything try going into safe mode and making sure you can
manually start up the services that way...Then try to do the uninstallation
of forefront again in Add/Remove programs...

If that doesn't work, try doing a force uninstall by removing forefront
directory under program files. Then doing a regedit and filtering to the keys
for forefront in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

If that doesn't work, backup the IIS Metabase and Trasport logs as well as
the Exchange Database and log files and reload Exchange...

Or reinstall Forefront with a full non-trial version... Something happened
with your uninstallation of forefront. When you install forefront it ties
into the exchange transport service which you obviously know about now...
Forefront is actually cheap about 1,500 yearly for a standard 2 server system
with about 60 users. Just remember to backup everything before going through
with any of the above options and this should help minimize any downtime to
users. Hope that gives you some support options... Good luck.
