I have test environment with W2K3 as a host and Exchange 2003 server
installed on the machine. Due the budget limitation I've been asked to
install VMware server and W2K3 as a gust to test internal application. Does
anyone did something like this and will VMware server brake Exchange
functionality

Thanks

Lots of people run Exchange in VMWare.  It's a good platform for testing.

That is not question I was asking. Question was: can I install vmware server
on box that already running exchange (exchange do not run in vmware
environment)?

Oh, right.  Well I don't think it will actually break Exchange, but it will
certainly affect its performance, since running a virtual server will
consume quite a lot of server memory.

Yeah, it'll install and operate. It'll run like a dog depending on
what you do inside the virtuals but your lab won't get too busy so
you'll be fine.
